There apparently is some misleading translations in the New King James version of the bible. After reading through an apologetic book written by many Lee Strobel, author of the case for Christ... The original Hebrew version and the NIV version is still more reliable. Which is rather shocking as many people use the NKJ version! From "Young men" in the original hebrew version, it became "young children" in the NKJ version. The NIV version says that it is "youths". Why is it important to note that such a small difference makes a BIG impact? The bear incident whereby the young men taunted Elisha and got mauled by two bears. They were called young children in the NJV version! This might mislead people to feel tt God is unmerciful...But in actual fact they were taunting Elisha and God!
Interesting. Apolgetics are nice to read.
